ARTWORKS > Contemporary Rituals

This is a small painting.
Small work is more immediate. You can hold it in your hand, like a small animal.
It’s less imposing and more intimate. It’s faster, more focused, concise, and precise.
Instead of demanding your attention, it gently pulls you by the sleeve; you don’t have to look, but you might want to.
Trains… coming, going, leaving (forever?)… arriving… or waiting for a train.
The time in-between… we are not there yet. A precious moment of spacing-out, disconnected from daily reality.
It is about the relativity of movement, the long and un-measurable moment.
