    MUSICIANS
I listened to these two play in Capetown, South Africa, in 2015. They were happy to let me record them playing music on that sunny afternoon. One of the musician is from a local tribe, the other is Romanian and he is wearing a traditional african robe. My recent painting, CAPETOWN DREAMING is based on this clip and a few still photos I took of this park THE COMPANY'S GARDENS during that early November trip. The painting belongs to my CONTEMPORARY RITUALS series.

  • Spike Rebel interviews Tamara

I talked to Spike Rebel about my artistic process in January 2017. That was the time when Spike just arrived to the Bridgeport Art Center, and that's when he started making short documentaries about his new artist-neigbors and the building itself. This is a lovely little piece. Enjoy!

  • Elephant Room Gallery

Elephant Room is a wonderful small gallery in Chicago's South Loop. Kimberly Atwood is a co-owner and the director of the gallery. In January 2017 I participated in the "Blues" exhibition at the gallery. My painting BLUES PARK is available for purchase on the gallery's website as well as on this site.

  • Linda Warren Projects

This is one of my favorite galleries in Chicago. I like Linda and enjoy interacting with her. The way she runs her gallery is truly inspiring.

  • James Deeb Art

James is a very interesting artist and I am intrigued by his work and the ideas behind the work.
