Big Alice or What Goes On In My Head
An abstract take on Alice's mood and state of mind in Wonderland when the weather is warming up.
The body and it’s movement, the interior and the exterior, as well as the relativity of scale; these were the forces that shaped this painting.
This painting was created in acrylics and oils on a birch panel.
Developed around and from a detail of the “Winter Alice”, this painting is a large- scale variation/interpretation of the previous piece. Here the color palette is not wintery any more, it has changed to reflect the warmer weather and climate. This piece is somewhat monumental and more abstract.
