Tamara likes visiting the Ganesh sculpture at the Art Institute of Chicago. God Ganesh is special to her. He is heavy and elegant and beautiful in a very unique way. T. always tries to stop by that old and mysterious sculpture.
On that particular day in the museum she wondered into the Mark Rothko room, sat on the bench in the middle of the room, and did not leave for a very long time. Layers, and nuances, and brush-marks drew her in and kept her in their world.
The GANESH painting started as an abstract piece.
But after a while the artist just had to add a "hero". At that time Ganesh walked into the painting and sat down.
