ARTWORKS > ART 2022-2026

This is a landscape.
Framed by birches on the left and by dark fallen trees on the right, this land is home to young deer, one realistic, the other abstract.
Inspired by three different forests, I created a place for the fawns to live in.
The painting reflects the essence of the woods and the feeling I get wondering, spending days in nature. In nature I feel bigger, I feel free and connected to earth, trees, grass.
This painting invites a viewer to step inside the landscape and become a part of it.

This painting was created for an invitational exhibition "Women in Nature: Taking Space". The exhibition was on view at Evanston Art Center in Evanston, Illinois, USA July 12- August 16, 2025.
